Sign Language Interpreters

The Deaf and Hard of Hearing program provides interpreters to students in mainstream classes for after-school activities, including sports, and at all performances and assemblies hosted at Hinsdale South High School. 
 
All interpreters hold either an EIPA of 3.5 or above or an interpreter license for the state of Illinois as well as an ISBE endorsement.  We also have interpreters certified at the National level and/or hold a license to do medical and legal interpreting. 
 
Interpreters provide communication accessibility to all students, Deaf staff, Deaf and Hard of Hearing parents, and community members upon request.
