Deaf Drama Club
The Deaf Drama club performs in two productions each year. The cast is made up of students from the Deaf and Hard of Hearing department as well as interested hearing students. The students attend workshops and audition for parts, and are chosen to act or provide behind-the-scenes support. The plays are performed in ASL and voice interpreters are provided for the non-signing audience members. The plays are performed in the fall and spring, and are open to the public. Students from elementary and middle schools often attend daytime performances as a field trip. Performances are held at Hinsdale South High School, 7401 Clarendon Hills Rd., Darien.
