District Autism SupportAutism consultation supports are available to our member districts as a consolidated service. Consultative support is provided to District Teams working with students on the autism spectrum to best meet their needs in the school environment. Utilizing a problem solving approach together with the student’s educational team, we will identify target behaviors and develop intervention to support the student across the school day. Consultation can focus on developing strategies to improve social skills, communication, behavior, and independent functioning as well as recommending adaptations and modifications to the student’s daily curriculum that encourage greater participation in the school setting.
