We are active in the Chamber of Commerce and the Foundation particularly surrounding business education initiatives such as the New Teachers Breakfast, the Computer Recycling Drive, Career Fairs and other activities of the Business Education Council.
LADSE Vocational Alliance has formed a valuable partnership with the West Suburban Chamber of Commerce and Industry Foundation (WSCCIF).
That partnership is named the "EmployAlliance". At the EmployAlliance we have developed joint projects on the Business Approach to Social Integration and Communication (BASIC) in the workplace, PathWays to Self Advocacy, The EmployAlliance Demand Side Job Development Networks. Our current project is to develop a training venue for front line staff in providing quality customer service to customers with disabilities.
The West Suburban Chamber of Commerce and Industry Foundation (WSCCIF) is committed to the ongoing development of the business community through Workforce Development, Business Development, Leadership Development, Business Education Partnerships and Employment initiatives.
LADSE Vocational Alliance's grant initiatives on community-based programming are designed as a joint partnership with the West Suburban Chamber Foundation. The EmployAlliance and the Vocational Alliance support students with disabilities and their families through several joint initiatives.
